Celebrities are often the front face divas for all Designer wear.
However Kerry Katona, celebrity singer and songwriter, has been bombarded by mixed comments for urging her fans to buy replicas of designer bags and clothing on her Instagram page. She posted pictures on her social media page posing with the fake goods and then suggesting her followers to visit the Instagram page that sells them.
Kerry, who has recently flaunted her two stoned weight loss on Instagram displayed her pair of £140 Gucci trainers which were a top lushentic grade imitation of the £700 originals. The ex-Atomic Kitten celebrity wore the trainers in a picture taken in a living room and posted on Instagram for the eyes of more than 100,000 followers.
The Instagram page selling the lushentic grade replicas has since been shut down following a bombardment of comments stressing that replicas should be banned by Instagram – only reappearing under a similar name few months later.
The Sun reports that a fan commented that ‘The world of counterfeit goods is an ugly one. I know that not everyone can afford the absurd price tag of the genuine items, but there are many alternatives to suit everyone’s budget on the high street.’
The Instagram business page, which remains unnamed, sold replicas of Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Hermes handbags and apparel amongst other brands of lushentic grade, the highest grade available in the replica industry.
Kerry Katona refused to comment when attempted to be interviewed by MailOnline.
Another celebrity, Danielle Lloyd, 34 has also previously been contacted by MailOnline after she softly endorsed the fake goods account which requires you to send a screenshot of the original bag if you would like to purchase an item.
She posted a picture of a replica YSL handbag on her Instagram page which was selling for £280 compared to the original which would cost a staggering £1,000.
